This exciting, busy rapidly expanding pet care centre is looking to recruit an assistant manager who will be a key member of their small team with a view to grow with the business. You will need an Animal Management Level 3 or equivalent qualification. At least 3 years experience in a kennel or animal rescue centre or dog day care working with groups of dogs. Able to step up and take charge in owners absence. You will need to be at least 25 years of age due to vehicle insurance Own transport and a full clean driving licence is essential You will be required as a backup driver from time to time when drivers are on leave You will need to computer literate with Microsoft applications. - You will be responsible for general day to day running such as scheduling, boarding appointments, cleaning rooms and private gardens, grooming, bathing, feeding, exercising, medicating, monitoring and managing the behaviour of dogs and the care team. - You will need to be comfortable dealing with clients and members of the public - You will need to be organised and efficient - You will be responsible for team management and mentoring. Standard hours are Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm (may include occasional weekend cover and out of hours) No annual leave is permitted during busy seasons (Christmas / New Years; Easter & Summer holidays)
