About the Role: They're looking for an ambitious Accounts Assistant to take responsibility for their book-keeping and make sure their finances run smoothly as they continue to expand and push forwards into new market verticals. The role is varied in terms of responsibilities and will include purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, sales ledgers, producing financial reports, managing tax responsibilities, paying suppliers and dealing with accounts queries as required. They value team work and know the importance of enjoying your time in the office so they have an exciting schedule of team socials and company events. Will you be next year's go-karting champion? About You: They're looking for a candidate who has previous experience in finance. You need you to be self-sufficient, pro-active, able to pick up new tasks and systems easily, and dedicated to meeting deadlines. It would be ideal if you have experience with Xero accounting, as they're just starting to use this software. Additionally, you need to be enthusiastic about the numbers Your work will help them make the right strategic decisions for the growth of the company. They need you to understand their business operations so their project budgets are clear and correct, and cash flow is managed responsibly. An eye for detail is, therefore, essential.
