An exciting opportunity exists to join a dynamic IT organisation as an Oracle SOA Support Specialist.

We have a traditional technical landscape in our data centre in London and have initiated a plan to simplify our infrastructure platform on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This is a rare opportunity to be involved from the outset as we build our team and formulate new ways of working.

This role will focus on the ongoing functional support and development of systems, the split of duties being roughly 60% support and 40% development.

As an experienced Oracle Support Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities:

- Manage and resolve issueslogged by internal customers on Oracle products and contribute to proactive support activities according to product support strategy and service models
- Maintain product expertise in SOAand related data integration technologies
- Second and third line functional supportin a busy IT services team, managing incidents & service requests
- Undertakingsystems maintenance tasks and automating routine tasks
- Install/configure/manage/monitor Oracle Fusion Middlewareproducts including WebLogic
- Troubleshooting ofXML messages, request/response WebLogic, SOA, OSB, BPEL and BAM.
- Application code deployment and version control
- Developing processes and procedures to maintain/improve service model
- Supporting 24*7 production environment with SLA's.

You will be part of 24x7 rota and should, therefore be prepared to participate in on-call services for one week in every four. For this, the company awards on-call bonus and additional holiday.

You will ideally come from an Oracle DBA background and can provide evidence of functional support within an Oracle SOA and middleware environment with the following skills:

- SOA Admin
- DBA Admin in Oracle/SQL SERVERS
