We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join a leading railway services provider on a permanent basis in Hertfordshire. Our client delivers a range of multi-disciplinary services to a variety of international rail projects. With continual investment in their workers, our client offers an excellent working environment and continuous staff training and development. Due to an expanding workload, they are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to assist with a number of exciting projects.

The selected candidate will be joining a specialist team, with key responsibilities including:

- Preparing and registering all relevant documentation, and ensuring it is accurate
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring quality and specifications are consistently being adhered to
- Providing support to other team members when necessary
- Assisting with the problem solving of any technical issues that may arise
- Ensuring Health and Safety regulations are being followed

Essential skills, experience and attributes:

- Degree qualification in relevant engineering subject
- Proven structural design experience and some civils knowledge
- Technical, analytical and numerical design abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Chartered Engineer, or working towards chartered status
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet strict deadlines
