Administrator/Sales Associate

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator with previous face to face customer service experience to work in our client's showroom, assisting in all administration duties and the running of their busy showroom.

The successful applicant must have a can do attitude with a positive approach and be a key team player. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential and must be confident and outgoing.

This is a great opportunity with room for growth for the right person.

Hours - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

GBP16k - GBP20k depending on experience

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Front line customer contact

  • Answer incoming calls and attend to any customer queries

  • Respond to emails in a professional manner

  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times

  • Be able to advise customers with basic knowledge of our products

  • Ensuring that the interiors showroom is immaculately presented at all times

  • General administration - document filing, letter typing, emailing, document submission

  • Entering, retrieving and interpreting information in a database

  • Book appointments/diary management

Required Skills

  • Strong administration skills

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a fast-paced, customer service role

  • Professional and confident telephone manner

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to communicate with people from all backgrounds and levels

  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment

  • Proficient user of Microsoft packages - MUST be of intermediate Excel level

  • Pro-active and flexible

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Well presented

  • Willingness to learn as this role is likely to progress
